    Lil Wayne is really successful at the moment but if I have to decide which album I'm going to buy I would chose Nelly.

    I like them both....Lil wayne has a lot of good songs but he;s kinda overrated....and nelly i think only has a few good songs

    Lil' Wayne is a lot more popular currently, especially with the college crowd. Nelly was so 6 years ago.

    both suck. nelly songs are wack and lil wayne steals from other artist (the bastard stole a whole verse from aaliyah!) and he kissed birdman. mainstream rap sucks! Source(s): 15 year old

    Nelly has nicer melodies, but Lyrically - he cant touch Lil Wayne... It's like Mariah Carey or Janet Jackson; one might have catchier tunes, but you KNOW who can actually sing... Source(s): Hip Hop Head
