Lil Wayne is possibly the worst rapper I have ever come across. I cannot stand any of his songs, and he is ruining the culture that we know as Hip Hop. People who listen to him have problems, and I would like to know why you listen to him.

ReplyDeletei beg to differ, yo'most of that music isn't all that appealing anyway, at least not to someone like me.if you want to listen to classic music, look up artists like Louis Armstrong, Etta James, The Temptations, The Beatles, ELO, Elton John, Roy Orbison, and any other old school musicians and bands who helped revolutionize and sculpt music as we know it today. anyway, back on topic here. I have listened to that lil' wayne before, i believe, through the efforts of radio. I don't find him too talented either. perhaps people listen to him due to his famous status in general or it may be a fad or maybe they have cotton in their ears. people have different likes.
ReplyDeleteBecause they wouldn't know good music if it came and slapped them across the face! I happen to be one teenage girl who isn't smitten with crappy "music." I agree, 'Lil Wayne is overrated. Little white girls (I'm white, don't blast me as "racist," don't even try it!) like to pretend that they're from the "hood," (I'm not stereotyping African-Americans, I apologize if you get that idea) and talk like they're black, now that 'Lil Wayne has appeared. I'm white, I like to listen to classic rock, '80s pop, and old school hip-hop, but I don't act like I'm African-American. In fact, I think it's actually a disgrace to the African-American culture to pretend or act like you're black when you're not. I have a cousin who does it, and he listens to horrible "hip-hop" music. It's saddening to see that songs about lollipops (being used as sexual innuendos) are getting airplay. I also cannot stand T-Pain, the songs are nonsense and the robotic voices are annoying. 'Lil Wayne is nothing but a money-whoring jerk, he doesn't give a crap about his fans or the actual hard work it takes to make "music," all he wants is money. Soulja Boy is another one that I could talk about, but that would be wasting my time, as you and I have the same views on "hip-hop" today. Anyway, 'Lil Wayne's new album was labeled as "rock," this is a sure-sign of the musical apocalypse. I bet the bastard doesn't even know how to play an an actual guitar. Someone actually once said that 'Lil Wayne is "making rock better." What kind of person would like to listen to a retarded monkey brag about all the money and women he supposedly has? probably the only song that he doesn't rap about that crap is in the song "my life".
