What do you think about Lil Wayne's rock song "Prom Queen"?
Me and my nephew are talking about the Lil Wayne rock song and he says he like it and I say no he shouldn't try to step into rock territory. I wanna know what people who listen to rock think about it..

  7. I listen to both Rock and Rap. Lil Wayne is the most overrated artist ever to live. Yes sometimes rappers can rockEx: Fort Minor.

  8. Why are you telling him not to listen to rock? Let him listen to whatever he likes.

  9. Prom Queen sucks just like every other Lil Wayne song. And he shouldn't make rock music because he'll ruin it more that the young bands are already doing.

  10. I don't like Lil Wayne. I think he's only doing rock music now because he fails miserably at being a rapper. I don't even dislike rap... there are a ton of talented rappers out there but Lil Wayne is not one of them.

  13. I think that rock remixes of rap songs work (framing hanley lollipop, Travis Barker Crank that) but rappers trying to rock out just isn't happening. Rap and Rock are not close in genres. Blue Grass to Country works Pop to Country works. Rap to Rock does not there's simply no similarities whatsoever.

  14. Handsome boy modeling school,or the "judgement Night" Soundtrack from like'92?house of pain/helmet collab. bio-hazard/onyx, etc., Anthrax/Public Enemy?'88-89? def-jam/ def-am.records, ever heard of it? put out slayer, beasties', run-dmc,etc... the concept of cross-over isn't new by any means.but it solidifies my opinion that lil weezy, lil jon,lil etc's are for little kids.

  15. I went on youtube to check it out, because I haven't actually heard the song before, and it's terrible, how the hell you gonna use auto tune on a rock song, and besides that, it's simply a crap song, all there is to it, I haven't heard anything else he's made, and judging by this song I probably wouldn't want to. Source(s): Hiphop and rock have been crossing territories for decades, check out Game Rebellion.
