Who is the better rapper: Tupac, Lil' Wayne, Jay-Z, Biggie or Nas?
Tupac is one of my all-time favorite rappers (God rest his soul) so I can understand yawl if yawl say him because he was a musical legend. But I also am in love with Lil' Wayne because he spits fire and his logic is too deep. Nas is dope too, his delivery is forever off the chain and he certainly knows what he's doing when he picks up that mic or get into the studio. BUT, I wanna know yawl opinions now.

  14. I don't think these guys should be compared as they all bring something different to the table. The bring different styles, background and beat

  16. To put Lil Wayne in the same sentence as these guys is outright ridiculous!!!! Nas has proved he is the best. They all bring something different to the table (except Jay), but overall Nas is the best. Source(s): All of their albums

  17. it's hard to compare biggie and pac to the three others simply because their careers were cut so short. who knows, everyones hating on wayne for doing the t-pain voice, but if pac and biggie were still alive, who knows they might be doing the same thing too. but i would still have to say Pac.

  18. Tupac hands down (also one of my all time favorite rappers) he had lyrics that meant something, even though others saw only his thug life in it. Everyone says Lil Wayne but i think he still has a long way to come before he can even be compared to the greatest (not saying that one day he want be considered great). Biggie was good but he came in second to me when it comes to Tupac. Jay-Z and Nas are off the chain but i feel there's just something lacking in there music (my opinion though)

  19. Tupac had outrageous social awareness and he was kinda conscious..But he saturated that with all the thug-life talk. Which is what most people judge him by. I also kinda respect that he gets props in two games. Thug records like Hit em up but conscious tracks like Dear mama and Keep your head up. I like Lil Wayne because he has that arrogance that makes you take note of what he's saying. And he proves on certain joints i.e. "Tie my hands,Hustler Musik", that he can talk seriously. But he can also go hard on joints like "The american dream" and "I'm me."I like jay-z for being the first rapper to embrace being a swag artist. From his first album, he talks about getting rich through the grind. - He talks about it kinda in-depth on "moment of clarity" NaS is the original poet, His articulation is off the charts. He fuses intelligence with life experience to paint pictures that the average MC simply can't. Biggie had arguably the best delivery in history, with only REAL HEAVYWEIGHTS like Big L,Big Pun and Big daddy kane being able to touch him. When i first heard "It aint hard to tell" and i heard "nas raps should be locked in a cell..It aint hard to tell" it just convinced me that NaS was the illest.Biggie was just ridiculous (my favourite MC). I remember hearing lines like "Hail mary, full of grace, smack a ***** in the face, take her gucci bag and her north face" and "He wanted me to **** him from the back, but smalls don't get down like that" and being like OHHHH.But i think they aren't comparable(specially Lil Wayne in comparison to the rest.) (he's kinda cool in his OWN right but not ALL TIME). They're all great in their own right and in every individual case an example of their art at its finest. You could however, argue who is better album for album for which i'd probably say NaS....Biggie - Delivery,FlowTupac - Being a legend in two games.Lil Wayne - Hilarious punchlines, Jay-Z - Master of swagNaS - Sheer poetry.
