Who do you think is more respected as an artist, 50 Cent or Lil' Wayne?

Who do you think is more respected as an artist, 50 Cent or Lil' Wayne?
Well as you can see, there are a lot of 50 & Weezy haters out there. I want to know - who do you think is more respected? 50 or Lil' Wayne? Also, if these two rappers lyrically beefed, who would win?

    first of all i think people used to respect 50 more, but i think now people respect lil wayne more because of what 50 has done recently.second of all why the hell did you put this in the basketball category?

    neither would win i think they would all pass out from the hot stank air that comes out their mouths. Rhymes are relativly the same, Lil Wayne voice makes me cringe and they both bob up and down in front of the camera waving their arms like an octopus.I tink Lil wayne has more respect, not sure why but it might have to do with 50 cent dissing everyone that makes the same music as him for example Fat Joe n Ja Rule. No one in the industry likes him where as lil Wayne makes friends lol

    50 Cent because Wayne is fake and had a ghost writer(Gillie da Kid) that wrote the Carter I, got dissed by him, and then he didnt respond. 50 on the other hand, went platinum for every album that HE wrote and no matter who it is, he'll diss the s**t outta them.. If they ever beefed, 50 would lyrically murder him... 50 already dissed him..If you want to hear it, go to youtube and type in fully loaded clip.. Source(s): you have this in the wrong place

    50. Wayne yet was giving the opportunity to branch out and do big business like dude was. vitamin water comes to mind and other business ventures. 50 may not be respected in the rap world like once was but he had it before Wayne did and he's the rookie compared to Wayne. plus 50 whole career is based on beef so i give him that too. Wayne ain't get as hot as he was till the Carter I. and he been out like a decade. 50 had a buzz with him from how to rob. then with the mixtapes to Get Rich Or Die Tryin'. Wayne switch his flow up then he got hot. listen to so old Weezy and then listen to how he's spitting now and tell me different. listen to the Philly rapper Gillie DA Kid. the same dude cash money sign b4 WEEZY REINVENTED HIS SELF. he ain't get that buzz he got till them Gangsta Grillz mixtapes came out. Dedication Pt.1 & 2. Gillie was pose to drop on Cash Money but ended up being a ghostwriter for Baby and Wayne just before Weezy took off. tell me that Wayne's flow aint identical to his. when Gillie 1st started Wanye was still on that wobbly wobbly *&@!. im just stating fact.
