Can sum1 explain to me why lil wayne changed his name to weezy?
wats the deal wit him? i dont get it why did he change from weezy to lil wayne?

    he didnt change it. weezy is his other nick name its always been. listen to some of his older songs. he calls him self weezy and weezy f baby. he still goes with the name lil wayne Source(s): im his biggest fan

    he never changed his name weezy is just another nickname but lil Wayne fits him better because his name is Dwayne if you listen to some of his songs he still refers to himself as weezy,weezy f baby, and young money aka young moolah
