What can I do to make a Lil Wayne concert more "bearable"?
My Son really likes him and is getting over a 2 1/2 year engagement break up and has asked me to go to a Lil Wayne concert in Texas with him. I got us tickets with VIP passes to a pre-show party (I really cannot stand Weezy) but I love my Son. What can I do to make it at least bearable?

  1. Bring an iPod.

  2. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, if anything kick back and laugh at him when he's on stage.

  6. Make a disappearing act to the washroom which, coincidentally, takes till the end of the concert.

  7. you can't, a ipod will shatter under the shear terribleness of his autotune, get drunk off your *** and force your son to stay sober to drive you home

  8. Offer to take him to a Lil' Wayne concert in Rochester, NY instead. He's been booked here twice in the last year and didn't show up either time. He's a joke.

  9. Just get lost in the music. Good or bad, and enjoy the time with your son. Have a few drinks and remember this is his special day.I know alot of tunes I hear in clubs that I would normally skip over, but I try not to pass judgment and I get lost in the moment and let my opinions go.

  10. lol....Now that's funny....well in the studio they have these ear plugs...go to a music store that sells equipment, instruments and ask for the ear plugs you can still hear but it won't be so bad.....then your still there supporting your son.....and to really make your son laugh and smile...once your at the show pull out a lollipop out your purse....it will also help you to cope!!!.....lol..enjoy even for me! ( little soft won't harm your ear). Source(s): i use the ear plugs in studio hear your own voicing..a little secret of mine

  11. I would say just focus on having fun. Don't think about the music too much, just go with the flow and keep reminding yourself that at least your son is having a good time and you made it even better for him by being there with him! And don't listen to those people saying iPods or earplugs. That won't do anything. Especially if you're near the front, which it seems like you might be since you also bought VIP passes.

  12. You have three options.1) Tell him you are busy and that he can take your ticket and take a friend. Then you can catch up with him the day after the concert.2) Get drunk, I have realized in life that if you simply get drunk then most any kind of music is not really all that bad. [Caution: This may result in a hangover]3) You can suck it up and go. I have also realized that most shows and entertainment is better in person than it is on a CD/DVD. After all with all of the excitement that happens at a live show it is hard to not get into the mood.

  13. Mrs.Latj I Really Think You Should Go For Your Son Because He's Going Through A Tough Time. He Might Need This One Time With You And Maybe He Would Cheer Up And Forget His Problems. Just Enjoy It The Best You Can. Hope You See My E-Mail. Source(s): Duff Man Is Every Troll Here Not Me.
