How will they distinguish what's good and bad when all they hear is bad music? Hip Hop, in regards to it being mainstream, is pretty much dead. I don't see any rapper on Top 40 billboard or whatever you call it trying to revitalize it. They're just digging in the coffin and stealing what's left on hip hop..just disrespecting it in all shapes and form :/

ReplyDeleteI disagree. I don't like Lil Wayne but his music isn't that bad. And without him no Jay Sean (who's okay) and Drake (who's good) so Lil Wayne isn't that bad. Soulja boy on the other hand is just a retarded monkey that got lucky and people took pity on. Chamillionaire is also from the south and he's a real rapper, and I'm pretty sure Paul Wall is too and he's also good.
